Has there been discussion about what to do with the pear.php.net front page? The current look makes me feel PEAR is dead because the 'hottest news' is some old advisory, and said advisory takes up the entire page. And it's near impossible to decipher an advisory section from a news headline. Thoughts?
Also, general style/design question: We have a lot of repeated heading information. For example in the top-level "Support", every one of the sub-sections (overview, mailing lists, books, etc) has the heading "Support" in the page. And then below "Support" is a sub-heading for ">> Mailing Lists". Those two levels of headings could be [carefully!] removed from the entire site whenever they are exactly repeating the info given by the navigation bars at the top. This would help clean up the interface through the entire site. thoughts? -c
