Hello,
Two years ago Thiago Toledo <thiagotoledo.com>, current member and art
coordinator of PHP Rio UG, had proposed the following re-design for
php.net:
http://www.thiagotoledo.com/preview_layout/images/phpnet1.jpg
At that time I had bring that design to hannes and helgi's attention
but it never gone forward because silver orange was already in charge
of the task IIRC.
Now that the re-design issue was raised again, perhaps it's a good
time to recall Thiago's idea again. Obviously the design above covers
only php.net front page, but we can "easily" adapt his ideas to PEAR
as well.
Best,
~IF.
