Don't patronize the developers, Zeev. They will use PHP to suit their needs, and what he described is a perfectly valid way to work.Don't patronize me, Andrei. I wasn't patronizing Kristian or anybody else, any more than they were patronizing me when they were saying that the current implementation of PHP is bad, that it must be redesigned, and that I'm either with them, or I'm plain dumb and blind. I *know* what PHP was designed to do. What he's describing is *NOT* what it was designed to do, and it's not a big surprise that he has to change it completely, all the way to the bones, in order to do it. That's *NOT* perfectly valid, and won't happen - the mainstream PHP is not going to change to become an application server. Obviously, he, and others, are free to use the same syntax and existing components to create new things, but destroying what currently exists is not valid at all.
