How do you know that? You've written it on PHP-DEV. Or was it only to say that you've never used the *PHP* OO Interface? Then forget my mail, sorry.
It's the latter.
(My experience with the *PHP* OO interface is that it makes since with midsize and advanced projects, especially when you have more than 1 developer in a team)
*That's* a statement I enjoy reading. It makes perfect sense too. I believe you completely that this is what you experienced, and it's ok and good that you act according to your experience. You just have to accept the fact that different people may have different experiences, and not everyone in the world develops in the same paradigm. The short version for this is 'live and let live'.
