*That's* a statement I enjoy reading. It makes perfect sense too. I believe you completely that this is what you experienced, and it's ok and good that you act according to your experience. You just have to accept the fact that different people may have different experiences, and not everyone in the world develops in the same paradigm. The short version for this is 'live and let live'.
I can only add that most complex apps I have written are all OO and would not be easy maintainable if not, the first OO apps I have written met the "dangerous feature" criterion too, where is the problem? now they are allright and it saves me bunches of time and even opens up ways that would not be that easy in procedural ways I *guess* that I would not use PHP anymore now if it would not contain OO and I guess I would not have been able to build similar apps with ease, if people do not like it, they do not use it... 0.02EUR andré
