I thought, the question was, if the browser automatically detects the encoding
given by the html files. Maybe I am a bit stupid, what do you mean with no
difference?
btw.: my mozilla can't even display hebrew, only phoenix and konqueror;-)

Try www.holliwell.de/he4/ encoding with iso-8859-8-i for the mysql-files.
