Hm - maybe not that easy. NestedSet includes PEAR::DB within the code.
It also calls the error handlers (it expects a pear::db result from a
query).
So the self made wrapper would have to _totally_ emulate PEAR::DB and after
you did that job you
will see that you just have written a MDB abstraction layer for PEAR::DB :)
I don't know much about MDB, but can't this be accessed using the ODBC
abstraction layer?
