There is already a PEAR DB wrapper for MDB. Of course a modified version of DB_NestedSet would be a separate package as a container approach is probably not feasible. The same thing was done with DB_QueryTool.Right -- yes. I'd be happy to do the porting of DB_NestedSet -> MDB_NestedSet. Have a bit of experience w/ that now (after recently porting Horde to MDB to integrate with my project). Am reluctant to suggest that there be two packages that'd have to be maintained, but maybe the best / most flexible solution. I suppose that if/when MDB becomes the standard DB layer, then this kind of situation will exist no more. Cheers, Hans
