Sometimes it's just not clearly evident why nobody reacts. I
experienced it so that some people just don't find the time. Talking
to one or two personally resulted in "Hey, I didn't look at it up to
now. But the class is really great." And simply assuming "nobody
responded so they don't like it" is the wrong way in my eyes.
Proposal to this: Saying "0" or "-1" and and a reason why you say
that would be a better way off. This way people proposing would know
where they are at.
And refering to Bertrand: Yes, this could fairly good be integrated
in the extension of the pear webinterface that has been discussed a
short while ago on the list. Maybe there could be a board to which
you can submit package-proposals and then have a form in which people
can rate -1, 0 or +1 (only one vote per person at a time; vote can be
changed later). And as soon as you e.g. resolved the issues combined
with a -1 you could send a short message to the author of this -1 to
inform him to re-think his vote and maybe change it to 0 or +1. Would
be *quite* helpful - don't you think?
Just my 2 euros :-))
