That's a joke right? Why bother voting if i dont have a PEAR account and it
will not count? Why bother saying anyone can vote, if only PEAR account owners
count?
I think is time to clarify the use of "active members of the PEAR community". I
think of myself as a "active members of the Linux community" but i dont
remember have signed for a account in the last 8 or 9 years of activy. But, boy,
I read/wrote tons of e-mails and code, and spent hours in flame wars, just
because I think that is a "community" way of doing things. Saying so, i would
like to sugest a modification on item 3:
3) Only the votes of active developers, with a active PEAR account, counts,
with exception of the proposer, if its already a active developer. Votes
require a final choice of package name being specified. The analysis of anyone
else is welcome to help developers decide.
