I've been waiting for account approval for over a week. If you guys are busy enough for it to take that long, why would you also want to have to approve *every* package? I can understand wanting to approve any packages that got +5, but also got -1s, to make sure that the problems are resolved or unfounded, but I would think that if the developers are unanimously in favor, then it should be good to go. On another note, Services_ExchangeRates already has +6 or so, but it hasn't been posted yet. I don't know whether everyone who voted was a developer or not (how can we tell?). Does it need to go through another formal vote? -- Marshall RochFrom: Stephan Schmidt [mailto:s.schmidt@metrix.de] And I don't like it, that the PEAR group has to approve every single package, this can lead to a lot of work for you guys. This all ties in together. I don't envision us to spend hours pondering approving a package. This is just a way to make sure that things go smoothly and especially that newcomers do things right. If a newcomer misunderstands the process and uploads a package that isn't accepted we have a mess.
