You should, you seems to like it a lot...And that is not a answer. Never was. Is a much more like a oxymoron... Ough! Had to look at the dictionary before that! looks like i was rigth: "A rhetorical figure in which an epigrammatic effect is created by the conjunction of incongruous or contradictory terms". To add to the thread, yes i think PEAR has a crack in it. And it is openning fast, thanks to php5. Like it or not, this state of things will have a end. Have this kind of attitude works to help open it even more. The main problem i saw in PEAR since the begining wasnt technical, was as someone said, managerial. I can name a lot of good technical companies/technologies that disappear even being the best option in the market. Betmax is classical, Netscape is the new one. PEAR? Will not make a big wave if it disapPEAR, looking at the current state of affairs. Being the best technical 'stuff' in the market, with the best brains (the technical ones) doesnt grant your future. So yes, we need dummies, lots of them. And we have to spent time (ugh!) helping THEM. They make the market, they make the community. Unless you think a bunch of 10 to 50 guys is a internet community. To me is a good start, at least. Regards S.Rocha ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/
