This is wrong. It should be
require_once 'Image/Text.php';
unless the class is called Image_Image_Text

In the "new" way this should be
Image_Text/Image/Text.php

IIRC since the begining of PEAR there has been a rule that
classnames should directly reflect the (installation) directory
structure.
