how about adding something like this at the top of your test-scripts:
if ($argv[1] == 'pearcvs') {
ini_set('include_path', '..:' . ini_get('include_path'));
require_once 'CHAP.php';
} else {
require_once 'Crypt/CHAP.php';
}
that's the way I do it.
