Hi Joshua Eichorn, you wrote: [a really great idea in my POV] Well, I agree fully to Joshua, but I'm afraid, that this is yet another great vision PEAR will be stuck at for months... Do we have a couple of devs that are willing to develop *together* a great and shiny HTML_Template?
right and remove the others ? very good idea... Whatever is great to Joshua might not sound as great for the current html_templates leads. Which is why I think we have a problem in the first place, we have lots of templates engines and lots of great maintainers but no way for them to pool their resources. But in a maintainer driven world there really isn't a good way for that to change.
Well thats not totally true, a good maintainer with time to look at the other projects code can at least take Alan has been taking ideas from Savant and integrating them into Flexy so at least the Savant proposal helped pear in that way. -josh
