Just shooting the breeze - but I would personally prefer this to happen:
Template_IT, Sigma, PHPlib - to be phased out, and Sigma to form the basis for IT2
as
- there hasnt been much maintenance on anything but sigma
- they all do the same thing (block/regex replace)
- they all have a pretty similar API.
Flexy/Xipe
I'm not sure what the status of Xipe is, it's not been modified for 5 months.
It would be nice to merge the Xipe backend into Flexy and make it the mega 'php source code' focused engine in pear.. - but It takes some time and incentive (which may or may not be there...) ... basically if you want this to happen send me patches and I'll let you commit it...
