I don't believe in this unification proposal, as the templates that are now in PEAR follow at least two fundamentally different approaches.
Agreed.
I didnt quite get how Savant can do IT style stuff. Hopefully it converting IT templats to php code. That would remove one of the key advantages of these types of templates as including code is a very serious security risc.
Let me clarify again that I was never asking for the uber template engine.
