While we're at it: Does somebody know anything about the license-
upgrade that was expected to be written with the Apache license in
mind? A long while ago we discussed that some terms from the PHP-
license don't fit well / anyhow to PEAR packages. I think it was
Martin who said that a new php license was on the way and suggested
that we don't try to invent a PEAR-license. However, afaik there have
no efforts been made regarding a new license - or does somebody know?
I think we urgently need a license that really fits our needs.
Currently I think it's ofen just copy-paste that header from the
manual without thinking about the problems since there are no real
alternatives.
