anonymous_function sounds good too, but it's really kind of verbose.
Maybe new_function()? I have a fondness for lambda, but if you call
it lambda, people may expect it to operate more like a lambda form in
ways it doesn't, or will debate features like adding flags, etc,
because they have a pre-conceived notion of what a lambda form should
be. PHP's not lisp, don't make it pretend it is.
I would go for new_function or perhaps anon_function. Personally I
don't care if you call it supercalafragalisticexpialadocious() so long
as it's there :)
