Huh? You can sell support for free software with it being propreitary, I don't get
that.

But, in order for a culture change to occur free software has to be popular and
widely supported. Free software's acceptance depends on it's being supported.
Linuxcare, Redhat Support, etc.

If this was just developed by MS, I would be more hesiatant, but since IBM is in
there too, I would be more inclined to at least support it. I am not saying turn
PHP into a SOAP compliant product or whatever they will call it. I realize IBM's
involvement might be more of a backlash against Sun because of IBM's problems with
Java Licenses. If this is the case IBM will eventually drop support for SOAP when
it makes up with Sun. Then MS would be alone again and I don't believe MS can push a
Web standard by itself anymore.
