I write this message to thee from an evil windows machine with w2k
installed, utilizing a 333 pentium celeron processor, 128 MB RAM, and 24 GB
harddisk -- no great shakes, but works for me. While I am at work (almost
always -- the techie life!), this machine is "on" and "operational" as a
"server" because I access a lot of stuff on it, using PC Anywhere.
It has been thus "on" and "operational" since 43 days now..my little
celeron-surprise balloon will most likely burst when my elec bill comes in,
but this is just to illustrate a point.
