Side note: Arnaud Limbourd has been so kind to provide LiveUser with a
DB_Medium driver - as the name might tell, a PEAR::DB driver of medium
complexity. It is not heavily tested yet (expect this to change within
the next two weeks) but my guess is that this will be the standard
driver for most users of LiveUser, as it provides the features that
about 80% of applications will need.

That project page unfortunately contains much outdated information (DB
model, code examples), but I´m in the process of writing full end-user
docs so people will get into using the package much easier than via the
example script in CVS.
