It is trivial in the sense that this problem has been solved probably a
million times. There is nothing complex about authentication and
authorization of users. Making a A&A solution that can be extended
to hit different authentication modules is a key step that both libraries
have taken on. YOu could even argue that exposing either package as a web
service is fairly trivial given all the hard work on the various PHP SOAP
libraries. Single-sign on, however, is not trivial. Planning for that is
critical in my opinion and then supporting the Liberty project fits right
into that. BTW, I don't mean to belittle you, I just don't see how A&A,
the guts, is complex.
