I have no document at hand, but on php-dev there are some heavy
discussions about making the function names in PHP 5 case sensitive
or not. If this will happen, a lot of old script will not work
anymore, because a lot of people tend to write functions names in
all different styles (e.g. getimagesize() vs. GetImageSize()).
