I'm pretty sure that XSLT is more powerful when it comes to
restructuring an XML document. I'm the author of patXMLRenderer (does
the same as XML_Transformer, but was released about a year earlier), so
I'm pretty familiar with the concept of the application.
Try moving an element that is at the bottom of the document to the
top... Or try building a TOC for a document. It's easy in XSLT, and a
pain in the ass when working with XML_Transformer. I'm not saying that
XML_Transformer is a Bad Thing [TM], but it's not the best tool for this
taks, as it's based on a SAX parser. You will have to do a two-pass
transformation and store contents that are needed in memory or on disk,
similar to how LaTeX creates a TOC.
