IIRC the Docbook filter for OO was in beta, and even now you need to
explicitely install it (I am using OO 1.1). I am not sure about taking the
exact Docbook output from OO and integrating it in PEARDOC because there are
some things like entity refs, ids, and such that will require manual editing.
Hey, I have even generated docbook from Latex. It is not a big problem to
generate the docs in Docbook, usually the problem is having the time to write
the documentation in the first place. Paraphrasing an all saying: "All roads
lead to Docbook".
