Thanks, Chuck -- at this point, I also feel a standalone package is the best way to proceed. Sorry about ruffled feathers, if any -- they were not intentional!
I've had a look into the package and I only can say, that I like this approach ;)
I welcome any comments you (or anyone else) may have about my implementation of SCM_SVN thus far.
I would very much appreciate a more modular layout of the inner workings, because I see great potential in this architecture. Some points about that: - having a driver structure for different SCM systems is quite nice - associated with that would a plugin-structure for the output-parser (no other SCM system I know throws out XML) - I would volunteer for integrating other SCMs I have experiences with (CVS, ClearCase, Surround SCM, Perforce ...) I totally agree, that this package and all work done for that will have no negative interference with horde/chora. Having a write-enabled SCM package would be _very_ cool for creating web based development tools, automatic staging tools etc. Having this in combination with PHP-GTK or other GUI systems would make it possible to create tools implementing mechanisms like checkin triggers in ClearCase - written in PHP *wow* So from me, it's definitely a +1 ;) Best regards, Volker Goebbels -- Dr. Volker Göbbels vmg@arachnion.de Arachnion GmbH & Co.
