I can understand that I sounded as if I didn't like Horde but that's not
true. Horde's code is overall very good and I often look at your CVS as a
reference for my own programming. Furthermore, I think PEAR wouldn't exist
today if Horde hadn't existed before.
So my rant was not against Horde, but rather against the way you guys tried
to force a developer to rewrite his code to use one of your package, which I
didn't want because this move would limit the proposed package features and
because IMO things should be done the other way round.
I'd also like to say that, even if in the past we already had different
opinions, I have a lot of respect for you and for the work you do with Horde
and its companion projects. I am also sorry if I misinterpreted the comments
you made on this proposal and I don't want to be the reason for you, or for
anyone else, not to contribute to PEAR.
