Markus Tacker (http://pear.php.net/user/tacker) has commented on the proposal for
RFC::RFC_PackageVariableNamingConvention.
Comment:
I don't like the idea of forcing PEAR code even stricter. A package should
be consistent. If you contribute to an existing package stick to the code
style of the parent package.
I for example use $var_name for simple variable types, $VarName for
Objects and functionName().
