I have thought of a tradeoff for those cases that would involve a change in the RFC or perhaps a specification in the RFC (Even though it is not something acceptable) please do not flame me for that but here's the idea: What if we accept packages that are not E_STRICT however, we prevent them from being in stable state until it is E_STRICT ? IMVHO that would be a very good tradeoff and let me know what you guys think because this is an important issue we have to discuss about (not only for Services_Digg)
That would be a quick solution, yes. But maybe we should slow down this discussion a little bit. We've had a lot of email in the last hours. Why don't we all take some more hours, think carefully about the impacts of the different ideas and propose them after that? That the current situation with this RFC is not the general way to go, is obvious. Regards, Mark -- http://www.markwiesemann.eu
