Postgre would hold a possibility if tere was a decent Win32 copy out. I've played with their current release, which you need to cygwin to run, I think I'd rather try compiling PHP w/ mySQL after that experience. It was horrible, no joke. (I would be interested in anyone who has somehow managed to get it wo work.)
