Sure we will fix it, the issue is also present in other parts of the code, so we will fix it there too before the next release. But as you said, the problem is really with __autoload() and fixing QuickForm won't fix __autoload() problems with PEAR in general. That's why an RFC seems necessary. I am asking for it but I can't write it myself. I just hope someone will find some time and motivation. If some of the guys who want this to be fixed because they use __autoload() could write such an RFC, that'd be even cooler. :) Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
