Hi all, I have about 4x +1 and a second contributor for now and there seems to be even more interest in a package like this - so I´d like to propose adding the project to PEAR CVS. I´ve already requested CVS access and a PEAR account. If there are no objections, I´d like to commit the project. One question remains, though: How to name this package? I like the approach Bertrand has proposed with a hierachy like this: Auth |__ Simple.php |__ Simple |__ Container.php |__ Containers |__ DB.php |__ File.php |__ ... The new package could ie. fit in like this: Auth |__ Complex.php (previously called the LoginManager class) |__ Complex |__ backend_db.php |__ ... ..and would then be called Auth_Complex. Any comments? Another topic is the license. I don´t have much experience in legal issues and have no idea which license to use for the package. Basically I´d want to have the basic open source features (ie. freely available for everyone, but if you make changes to the sourcecode, you must publish them so the community benefits from it), but I don´t want to force application developers who use the package to make the source code of their whole application open source as well. Also, commercial use must be allowed. Is LGPL the right license for that?
