If the header section were shorter, would it still be too much black? If the purple were less vibrant, would it still be unappealing? Regarding the logo, I was actually trying to follow your suggestion in that I made it "shinier". As I mentioned before, I agree with Daniel that we should simplify the logo (by removing the oval). A bit of trivia about Daniel, he actually did the concept for the Firefox logo that we all know and love. So, although he claims not to be an expert, he is probably being modest and we would be wise to defer to him. IMHO. Thanks, StewHi Guys, I've posted a variation on Daniel's download page. This one has a different take on the header. More 'bling' as Hannes put it. Hopefully not too gaudy, but it could probably stand to be toned down. It could also be made shorter. Let me know if there are any aspects that you like and/or if there are other things you'd like me to try. http://ambitious.ca/php/download-4.png Personally I think that the black and purple are rather eye-catching.From previous comments: - keep the original PHP logo - Windows dls are not there anymore, php 4 is dead (use php6 and 5 to make it feel more actual :) There is too much black for my eyes. High contrast but not appealing, any other colors combinations to compare? Thanks for your work!
