A few questions by someone who isn't directly involved with the
installer, like Toby. However, I've run 1.4.0 for quite a while now on
my windows system and the last release has been very satisfactory.
Would the above option prevent people from installing pear using
go-pear.org? And how will it affect the windows installation?
I certainly don't like the idea that PEAR may not be packaged with any
release of PHP.
