Ok, for now let's just go with the ext/xmlrpc dependency I just
committed. I'd still like to go to 1.4 soon, but I don't want to hold
up RC1 for it.
Could you guys please check the changes I made in the PHP_5_1 tree? I
am pretty sure the mock client/server test cases are broken now.
