I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made PEAR the place to develop PHP libraries in the early days of PHP 4. I still remember hearing about Stig's idea of PEAR for the first time. A lot has changed since then, and PEAR is -- at least in my opinion -- no longer the right place for me to develop and maintain PHPUnit in.

I tend to agree with you (and some other). However I am more in the people who will keep the efforts as long as it is possible instead of leaving the boat :) I however think that this is a good choice, for you, PHPUnit and PEAR. Have fun with the reborn phpunit :) --Pierre
