Hy everybody
What the hell is wrong with PEAR? The current situation on PEAR is pissing
me off. That pear is not included in PHP anymore might be acceptable, if
there would be another possibility to get it on a normal way, for a
windows-user. But there is none. Not even a base-packet to download. Only
that goddamn go-pear is offered for installing and not even this is included
in the actual PHP-release. Happily announcing the possibility to use it with
lynx on your *nix. Fuck Lynx. This peace of grap is not working on windows,
neither as command-line nor in my browser. How could you ever think about
comparing yourself with CPAN? This ignorance to exclude all windows-users
until you found a way to get your installer to work can only be a joke. But
not enough. Your website, where the packets are listed is not only terrible
to navigate, it's also deadly slow, so that for me there is no practical way
to get an actual PEAR-release. Where is the problem to offer a PEAR-packet
to download? If you like to, I would even get it as tar.bz! The answer, that
pear becomes tooooo big, is not worth to think about. We're living in the
age of DSL! Does Mandrake stops download of their distribution, because it's
becoming to big? Huhu, don't break your head on someneelse's brain, I need
PEAR, and I would even download it if its 100GB big. But what? Im only using
windows. Im not even worth, that you read this message. Just keep sitting in
front off your favorit shell and wait for the Linux world-domination. Good
luck
