First, the correct paths for your system would be:
set PHP_BIN=d:\php\cli\php.exe
set BIN_DIR=d:\php
set PEAR_PATH=d:\php\pear
Because I have the same structure.
But more annoying is that none of this will help if you don't fix the bug
in the batch file:
The command should actually be:
%PHP_BIN% -C -d output_buffering=1 -d include_path=%PEAR_PATH% -f %BIN_DIR%
\.tmppear -- %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
@ECHO ON
Note the ".tmppear" in there? Took me a while to figure THAT out, and I'm
not sure how such a silly bug (assuming that's what it is), got by.
So, the process for me was, since I am using PHP 4.3:
1) cd c:\php (this appears to be important since it seems to just install
as a sub of whatever directory you are in at the time)
2) cli\php -n -r "include 'http://go-pear.org';" (set the right paths
and
add the path to your php.ini as it tells you)
3) modify pear.bat as above
And it all works fine on my Win2K, PHP 4.3.0 box.
The question now is: does phpdoc run on windows at all?
