(Which are the last lines go-pear outputs) > [go-pear (web); checksum error] Again this is no error related to go-pear directly, so diffrent go-pear versions will not change a thing. > Unfortunately > go-pear deleted all the downloaded packets from the tmp-dir when the error > occurs and the script has finished. I will try to "fix" that, when I have time to do it. This allready is on my long-term TODO-list. > OK no prob, I thought and remembered an old pear-backup I made one or two > weeks ago. No idea why this happens, I would normally say "please upgrade your PEAR version with go-pear", but this wouldn't help here, I guess ;-) > After this try I downloaded every single class of the > base-pear-packet from pear.php.net and "installed" it manually. But shit, I > don't know why, webinstall didn't realize the existing packets and shows off > as if my whole pear-dir is empty. Thats because packages are registered after installation. You didn't do this registration, so this explains your prob here. > As I said in my last post, download-time > is no problem and decided to download all the packets again. Never heared of such a problem before, might be a temprary problem with pear.php.net? > [feeling sick about the current situation] You can trust me, we want a running PEAR on windows too. Statements like "Its important for the future of PEAR to have windows support" just do not help at all, cause we now this too. I, as an example, am frustrated too, cause this windows problem strike us again and again and I spend hours to hunt those issues, but it doesn't work correctly after all. It would be great, if you could provide the output of go-pear so that I am able to see where exactly the problem occurs. Christian Dickmann
