I want to demonstrate my frustration:
I took a fresh Win2k installation now.
Installed Apache 1.3.27 and PHP 4.3 as
module. All standard, but changed the php.ini
to point to an existing session path.
Then I got go-pear.php (web) and ran it in IE.
Everything installed in about 10 seconds.
My paths:
Apache: c:\php\apache
Htdocs: c:\php\apache\htdocs
PEAR: c:\php\apache\htdocs\pear
works just great.
