RE: [PHP] i thought this was a php developers list

I tend to agree with Jeroen on this, RTFM is a saying that developers have been using for years, and thats because they did it to get their knowledge. At the end of the day being able to RTFM is the strongest skill a developer can have, it allows U to move programming languages, OSes etc etc, without the need for hand holding. Questions like redirecting to another page (and getting the same level of thinking kind of answers like 'use meta refresh' or 'use a document.location') or checking if a viariable is set are so very basic that it -in my opinion- should definately not appear on this list. Grab a manual and read it or go to a newbie list *sigh*. Ofcourse all developers started out as being newbies, but the thing with me and other developers I know is that we DID RTFM! I was hoping for interesting questions or suggestions from people who are really knowing what they are doing and bring in that way the knowledge of all parties to a higher level, but on the contrary... I think I'll unsubscribe to this list and find a list of people who truly do read their manuals before asking, 'cause this list only consumes time, effort and mailbox space. Later...
