Re: I thought this was a PHP developers list

I have watched this thread with some interest and I would like to say, Thank God for Most of You. When my Cold Fusion programmer trashed my site and refused to fix it, I had to rewrite www.dallypost.com and I had to do it in a hurry. I knew html and wrote some clipper code in the dos days and that was the limit of experience. I wrote my first line of code about four months ago. On several occasions I was unable to find what I needed in the manual or in the books that I had purchased. I am sure that I asked many silly questions, but they were not silly to me. Most of you were great and the value of the help you gave was beyond measure. A few few of you were jerks and smugly told me to read the manual. My business survived because of the good hearted in this group. My eternal thanks goes out to you. To those who like to gripe, your kind has been around forever and good people continue to be good despite your bad example. Lance earl
