I don't think you need to go away. If you have actually tried to find an answer to your problem, then by all means post it to the list. I made mention of this before but, Copernic is a good search tool, I think the url is http://www.copernic.com. The problem is when people don't try and find the answer to the problem. I have had trouble finding things on the Internet relating to php and had to ask the list for help. And sometimes they are pretty basic things, but what can you do if you can't find what you looking for. There is a difference between lazy posters and people who are trying. It is difficult to be a newbie, but this list isn't going away, you don't have to unsubscribe, some people may bitch but a lot of people are willing to help. My biggest beaf with all mailing lists is people that put things like, "A Question" in the subject of a message. That is so annoying to me. THEY ARE ALL QUESTIONS! Well, can somebody tell me if there _is_ a list for questions like "I'm trying to do whatever, and I've looked in the manual but I can't find anything like I need"? I for one newbie _have_ looked for more than "Eeew thirty seconds" at both the online manual and several books, and found nothing like I wanted, written a great long write-around, only to discover later from this list that there is a neat little function hidden away somewhere that does exactly what I want. I'm happy to go away, but I would like somewhere to go.
