Re: I thought this was a PHP developers list

One of the appeals to PHP is that it is a fairly complete language for a fairly popular application. It has lots of built in functions and you don't have to worry about which library to include. It also has a smidgen of 4 GL features. This is what make it so popular for beginners, who rightfully find their way here. Also, the purpose of the language and development are very open soured, "i want it now without paying for it" centered. It's A Good Thing(tm). makes the world go round. And I have been a newbie myself. Consider giving help for simple questions you privilege for coming as far as you have. -- ________________________________________________________________ Dennis K.
