Chuck, Excellent, thanks for clearing this up. It might be wise for Zend to inform us of these things before they go live so we don't jump to any conclusions. Just so you know, I was merely pointing out possibilities in my original e-mail, I wasn't trying to say they were true. I really do like Zend (couldn't live without Zend Studio) and have had no problems with them except the issue over the PHP 5 Competition. I think really, Zend needs to be a little more communicative with us (and others) when using our names and such in their press releases. I understand that PR stretches the truth (any good PR that is!) but telling us before hand would be great! My other reason for pointing this out is that having companies support packages is a *good* thing, but we need to come up with a strategy on how this is to be done, who gets paid, etc. - Davey Chuck Hagenbuch wrote:

sounds more like these contributions supposedly have already been made. anyways none of the bugs linked in the 0.9.0 changelog have been submitted by someone @zend.com or @paypal.com or @ebay.*
Right. My PEAR account is chagenbu which is linked to chuck@horde.org, not chuck@zend.com. Semantics... -chuck
