Hi, I think its perfectly ok to have a note on the frontpage that reminds people that we actually do appreciate it if companies hire pear developers to get features in. However remember that being hired suddenly changes your responsibilities. Where uptil now it is all without warrenty you now might have to sign a contract that states otherwise. So for tiny features you are probably going to add anyways because they make sense I think a company is probably best off buying something from the wishlist. If its really important for them, then they should hire you. But then it makes little sense to start talking about 100-200 dollars, due to the liability issue that suddenly opens up, due to trickyness that usually results from getting your first international client etc. Aside form this I think there are companies that actually handle opensource bounties (if not we should get some VC and start one). Maybe we should look this up. The advantage being that they could help in building up bounties form several companies, help in coming up with a contract and generally smoothing out the process. It might make sense for us, the pear group, to maybe endorse such a service. regards, Lukas
