to implement such idea ? I think the only work we'd have to do is create some self-mainaing system for this - I can try to make it. I do not think it'll add much burocracy. Here's the strict project: 1. Any user on the site can vote on a class - he's vote counts as 1. 2. User while voting can specify his id, password and number of votes he wants to give to the specific class. The umber of allowable votes is retrieved from the DB - if user wants to give too many votes - only the maximum (stored in the DB) number of votes is given. Of course the user will be sent an email, that he gave such and such number of votes - just in case of hacking the system :) 3. When the class is approved and put into the PEAR package - the DB is updated if necessary (if it's user's 4th class - he's allowable points are incremented). The only hard thing I see here is 3rd point - I mean how to move the approved classes to the PEAR package - but I think my concerns are conected only with my not enough knowledge of the adding classes mechanism. Besides - on the system start we would have to populate the DB with current stats - I mean all the current developers would have to be imported into the DB with accurate number of allowable points - but I do not think this will be very hard issue. If you agree with me - I can start making such system and present you the test version as soon as I will finish (shouldn't be long - it's not very complex :) ). What do you think ? Regards Voyteckpeople that has 3-5 classes - has 3 votesSimiliar aproach was allready suggested earlier and the idea was trashed. At that time - I agree it was crashed. But right now - why can't we try
