Yes, because I think that you systematically *OVER*estimate
your real world experience and in the same second you are
*UNDER*estimating the experience of other people.
Look at the HOF example: you experienced that it would help
(I believe you) in a or in some special cases on your web
site(s) and I experienced that it wouldn't help in a case
within one of my web sites. There are X people that made the
same experience as you and there are Y people that made the
same experience as me.

I suggest you should go and learn a bit more about successful
online marketing techniques. For the first steps I think you
should carefully read the following web sites: clickz.com,
marketingprofs.com, useit.com, cnet.com, zdnet.com, emailsherpa.com,
sethgodin.com, the Cluetrain manifest, Anne Holland's SherpaBlog
at http://sherpablog.blogspot.com/, o-a.com etc.

Manuel, I give credits to your suggestions. But obviously,
in the *special* case of *.php.net some suggestions are
really bad ideas. Sorry to say that, but I think so.

Yes. But *not* everything that was successful for you is
successful for the special case *.php.net. Obviously
you don't consider this.
