Lill function calling the constructor of the direct parent of a object. I get the feeling my diff is doing stuff the wrong way _ where + is required and vice versa so I'm putting the changed file (I put it in zend_builtin_function.c) on http://sitedev.gginter.net/zend_builtin_functions.c Hope *this* one gets accepted hehe
The right way would be to implement $super.
We're not going to implement $super. It's be way too slow and doesn't give you anything you cannot otherwise achieve. I'm thinking about implement super:: (which would have no noticeable performance implications), but it won't help you in the specific case of constructors (unless we make a special case for super::super(), which I think is a bit ugly). Zeev -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/ Uhm, slow? There's $this, I think you can make $super be the same. I don't see this to be slow..
$this is slow. Unlike $super, though, it's necessary. Zeev -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/
